If you do want to keep your favorite e-journals in a bookmark file or
on a personal web page, please edit the bookmark
or web page to change the address (URL) to the one listed in the UMDNJ
Librararies Catalog. We ask that you take this extra step in
order to help us count use of electronic journals.
When you go to an e-journal home page through the UMDNJ
Libraries, you are going through an anonymous counter that can tell us
how many times, by campus, a title is used. When you bookmark an
electronic journal home page directly and return again, we have no way
of knowing how many times the journal is being used. When the time
comes to renew or, in the case of free trials, to decide whether or not
to purchase online access, we need to know which e-journals are actually
being used and how much.
