Is there any authority or expertise attached to the provider?
What is the purpose of the site?
Does there seem to be a particular bias?
Is there commercial support for the site?
Is there a contact person listed?
What is the intended audience for this material?
Is it consumer oriented or is it intended for the health professional?
What is the level of treatment of the topics covered?
Are the links to material at the same level?
Must you register to use the site?
Is it easy to navigate within the site?
Is there either a good search interface or a well-organized index?
Is there more than one way to get to the information you want?
Is the information presented current?
Can you tell when the site was last updated or revised?
Do all (or most) of the links work?
Are the sources listed?
Is there a bibliography or "webliography" included?
Do the links make sense?
Are the links selective or exhaustive?
Does the design add to the clarity of the presentation?
Do the graphics enhance the information or access to the information?
Do useless graphics take an unreasonably long time to load?
Do you have to download a lot of software to take full advantage of the site?
If so, is it worth it?
Is the site unique?
If not, how does it compare to similar sites?
